Emergency Procedures
Essential guidelines for handling emergencies in our community.
In case of a fire, remain calm and follow the evacuation plan posted in your apartment. Exit the building quickly using the nearest staircase—do not use elevators. Once outside, proceed to the designated assembly area and wait for further instructions from emergency personnel. Ensure all residents are accounted for before re-entering the building.
If you suspect a gas leak, evacuate the area immediately. Do not use any electrical devices, including light switches, as they may cause a spark. Once outside, call 911 to report the leak and notify building management. Avoid re-entering the premises until it has been deemed safe by authorized personnel.
During severe weather events, stay informed by monitoring local news and alerts. Move to an interior room or hallway away from windows. If advised, prepare emergency supplies such as water, food, and a flashlight. After the storm, help assess damage if safe to do so, and report any hazards to management.
For medical emergencies, call 911 immediately. Provide clear information about the situation and the location of the emergency. While waiting for help, try to assist the individual by keeping them comfortable and monitoring their condition until help arrives. Reach out to neighbors for additional support if needed.
If you hear a suspicious noise, do not investigate it on your own. Stay inside and secure your doors and windows. If you feel threatened, call 911 and report your observations. Provide as much detail as possible about the situation and your location to help responders assess the situation safely.
